ADDITIONAL NOTES

(on DRUMS) Depending on the situation/desired sound, Mauricio switches between the wood and regular rims for the main snare, as well as the position of the tons and piccolo snare around the kit. Although the main set-up is similar to a standard set-up, some styles/songs may require a different approach, which is always welcome......Also, in some situations the 18" bass drum is used as the only bass drum; at other times the two bass drums are used simultaneously.

(on CYMBALS) Although the kit is a standard right-handed kit, the ride cymbal is almost always placed on the left side. Sometimes, both the 20'' and the 22'' rides are used simultaneously.
